What We Do
Fun ... with a purpose!
All year long our Los Prados Women's Club holds fund-raising events as well as social activities in order to raise money for our year-end giving. Small local charities are vetted and chosen by our Charities Committee based on their effectiveness and contribution to the community. In January of each new year, representatives from the selected charities are invited to our luncheon where their donation checks are distributed.
Our four big fund-raisers every year are the Small Business Expo, the Rummage Sale, the Craft Fair and the Gift Basket & Bake Sale. Members work together to make these events fun, memorable and profitable for our charities!
Small Business Expo!
This event is held in June and showcases small businesses in our local community!
Rummage Sale!
Held in September during overseeding at our golf course, this sale is highly anticipated by savvy shoppers throughout Las Vegas!
Craft Fair!
This event, also held in September, features local artisans displaying and selling their homemade arts and crafts!
Gift Basket & Bake Sale!
Held before Thanksgiving in November, come and shop for gorgeous gift baskets at fantastic prices (plus YUMMY baked goods)!
